Olds - The J.C.(Jack) Anderson Charity Auto Auction is gearing up!

They are looking for ambitious volunteers who have a passion for vintage cars and trucks. Dates for the Auction are Friday, June 21, 2013 - 00:00 - Sunday, June 23, 2013 - 00:00  http://100.oldscollege.ca/events/jc-jack-anderson-charity-auto-auction-supporting-future-olds-college.

Volunteer details:

This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to get involved at the onset for the auto auction of the century! They are looking for anyone with a passion for vintage cars and trucks, who won’t mind getting a little greasy! Some mechanical experience would be great, but not required. Many current volunteers are students from Olds College who want to help. Anyone can participate, although there will be some lifting and bending, so volunteers are encouraged to have sturdy hands, feet and back. This is the first of many volunteer opportunities to come. Volunteers will get an exclusive sneak-a-peak at some of the exciting cars that will be auctioned in June.

Some duties include:

Cleaning, mechanics, detailing, washing

For more information contact Kelsey at 1-403-507-7717.

Drumheller – The Town of Drumheller will be celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year! The actual date of their anniversary is May 15th, 2013.

The committee has developed a logo for the anniversary and they would like everyone to have an opportunity to use the logo for themselves, ie. Team Badges, Letterhead, Swag, etc.

The business world may want to mark a sale as a “Centennial Sale” or incorporate the idea of 100 or multiples thereof in the marketing of their products.

The Town would like to have everyone to try to celebrate this special 100th Anniversary of The Town in some war; privately or publicly, whatever suits you and your family/company best.

For additional information call Paul Salvatore at 403.823.1324.
